Worcester CASH Aims and Objectives
The overall aim of Worcester CASH is to advise, support & help people with money issues, empowering them to improve their situation.
Motivated by the Christian values of love, mercy and justice for all people, Worcester CASH aims to:
- Provide practical help and advice for people with money difficulties
- Increase financial literacy and understanding
- Influence social policy in relation to financial issues
- Provide on-going support & care to people as they work through money issues
Worcester CASH’s specific objectives are to:
- Give professional money advice to people based in Worcestershire
- Run money education courses and seminars
- Coach people in money management skills
- Establish and maintain links with local people and organisations sympathetic to the aims of Worcester CASH
- Participate in appropriate forums and campaigns aimed at affecting social policy
- Make extra efforts to provide Worcester CASH services to disadvantaged or excluded people as necessary
